To me, photography is more than just taking pictures—it’s a form of art, a way to preserve fleeting moments, and, in some ways, a visual CV, reflecting how skills and techniques evolve over time.
The most valuable tools in capturing an image are knowing the right moment to press the shutter and making the most of natural light. My favourite photos are often the unplanned ones—those unexpected moments that reveal something genuine and spontaneous.
Some of my earliest memories of photography come from capturing moments at parties. I loved giving my friends and family something to look back on—candid glimpses of themselves interacting with others, often in ways they hadn’t seen before. It was always appreciated.
A turning point for me came in 2019 while traveling through Italy. Over four weeks, from the north to the south, I immersed myself in new cultures, approached strangers, and documented vast landscapes. Rather than taking countless images, I focused on capturing just a few meaningful shots in each place—ones that told a story.
Every photograph is a brief moment frozen in time, never to be repeated. That’s what makes photography so powerful.
